All tracking for the forthcoming CD – Moonlight – is complete and currently being mixed by Grammy Award winning mix engineer Craig Bauer at the new location of Hinge Studios
The new project features an acoustic rhythm section set amidst a lush orchestral backdrop. The rhythm section is comprised of; Steve Rodby – bass, (Pat Metheny Group), Russell Ferrante (Yellowjackets) and Michael Logan - keyboards, (Will Downing). The arrangements are the work of the highly gifted composer/ pianist – Michael Cunningham.
The project includes such iconic songs as the Bacharach & David penned The Look of Love, folk songsCry Me a River,Shenandoah, The Long and Winding Road (Beatles), Undun (Guess Who) and Close Your Eyes (James Taylor) to name a few. In addition to the strings, the arrangements include tastefully placed harp, woodwinds and tempered brass.
